Stella Reading University Award

Stella is a great reader. She loves going to the library and selecting books to read with me or with her older siblings. She is consistently reading more books at home than any other friend in her class. I know because I volunteer every week to manage her classroom library.

A couple of weeks ago she was awarded the Reading University Award for her class for the month of October. She was recognized in front of all k-3 students at the school.

This is what Mrs. Hooton, Stella's Kindergarten teacher wrote about her:
Stella, you are often caught reading when you are done with any other work that you have. We love your enthusiasm for learning and growing. You are FANTASTIC!
