The city does a wonderful job of decorating the shops downtown with candy displays, lights and a beautiful Christmas tree.
After dinner we went into the city office building and I helped the two middle children write a letter to Santa.
Outside, the kids stood in line for free hot chocolate and cookies. While waiting, a local police officer decorated Carson with caution tape.
The city holds an annual contest to select the best gingerbread house displays. There were some impressive choices.
The kids were very impressed by the candy art displays. They were all so impressive!
