Carson has chosen to be baptized

Turning eight years old is a milestone in our religion. It is when a child reaches the age of accountability and is able to decide whether they wish to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In order to prepare for his baptism, Carson has memorized the 13 Articles of Faith and on November 20th we finished reading the Book of Mormon as a family.

We are so proud of the good choices Carson has made thus far and are excited about his upcoming baptism!

To celebrate finishing the Book of Mormon the kids decided to have pie for dessert (except for Carson who had to have a cupcake because he doesn't like any kind of pie). We let Stella choose the flavor and she decided to have Strawberry Rubharb Pie. The kids weren't very impressed with the taste and wondered if it eating the pie was really a reward or punishment.
