Discovery Gateway Children Museum

On Monday Grandma and I took the kids to Discovery Gateway, Salt Lake City's Children's Museum. Carson had a lot of fun traveling to the museum by train. We took Trax downtown. There is along of construction going on along the route so he also got to see big diggers and train cars parked on parallel tracks. He was really excited.

The visit was fun for the kids. They enjoyed playing in the mini supermarket, the construction zone and the tinker toy exhibit.

The kids also got to ride on the rescue helicopter replica on the second floor and pretend to be news casters for channel 5 news.

Riding public transportation was certainly interesting. We got to share our ride with people from all walks of life. I was reminded of the vibrant, diverse population living in Salt Lake.
