I just wanted to post a quick update on the flooding issue on the house. We found the cause of the leak. A neighbor left a soaker hose on while on vacation. After a week her ground and ours was so saturated that our draineage system just could no longer handle all the water and it found a way into our house.
I'm glad we were able to find the source of the problem and stop the water from doing even more damage to our house. Unfortunately home owner insurance doesn't cover that kind of damage so we'll have to have an unpleasant conversation with our neighbor about how to resolve the situation.
