Swimming, Swimming and More Swimming

These last couple of weeks I've spent half my time between swimming lessons for Emilia and playing in the pool with the kids to keep cool. I have an awesome neighbor who lets us use her pool any time so we're there practically every day.

Carson is my little fish. He has no fear of jumping into the water, getting splashed in the face or swimming by himself with his floaty. Emilia has not yet gotten there. Every year we work with her on her swimming and it's baby steps. She is genuinely terrified of getting water in her face and ears and of floating on her back. She is very comfortable with her pink star ring and will float anywhere in the pool with it so playing in the water is fun for her.
