Carson's First Birthday

My little man turned one year old last week. I can't believe we are already celebrating his first birthday. The picture on the top left corner was taken in July, right after we left Texas for our extended trip. It's incredible how much he's changed over the last few months.

Here are a few of Carson's favorite things:
Food - Ritz crackers and yogurt. There are very few things that Carson won't eat.
Toy - Whatever Emilia is playing with. He also loves cell phones and laptop computers.
Game - Peek-a-boo. He really enjoys sneaking past the baby gate and having us chase him up the stairs. If we are not around, he calls and waits for us to chase him before he begins climbing.
Book - Noisy Peekaboo Vroom Vroom
Activity - Besides eating, he loves to turn on the master bathroom's tub water.

And some of his least favorites:
1. Anything that stops his playtime i.e. sleeping, changing his diaper.
2. Not feeling full. He's always up for a snack!

Carson still prefers crawling to walking but it's just a matter of time. He will take up to 6-8 steps when we are around him. I love to hear him squeal with delight every time he walks towards us.

He's still a really easy going and happy boy full of smiles and cuddles for his mommy.

I couldn't believe how big he looked today at church. Hope he had a great birthday.

Yesterday, my oldest and youngest grandchildren celebrated their birthdays. That will probably the only time I will be able to say that. Next year, it could be my oldest and youngest grandsons, but not grandchildren.

It is amazing how much Carson has grown since July. He just gets cuter and cuter.
