We spent the weekend camping with the Whitney's near Pineview Reservoir in Ogden Canyon. On the first day, we spent the day playing in the water at the reservoir.
The kids swam and play in the sand for several hours. In the evening we made our famous pie cups over the fire. The kids are getting really good at cooking with them.
That evening we took the Whitney's to their first geocaching adventure. We searched for several caches in the area. Some were rather easy to find, other were placed in rough places. In the process, we came across animal bones, snake shed skin and a ton of red biting ants. Geocaching is not for the faint of heart.
This process made me realize that I am more of an urban geocacher than a rural one.
