Every year our family attends the SoJo Carnival. It is the city's summer celebration and it takes place instead of the 4th or 24th of July.
The kids love riding the small rides. They are not big fans of roller coasters. I think the Dragon is as exciting as they are willing to try.
They Pirate obstacle course was Stella's favorite.
The city also offers some free attractions and games. After a very expensive dinner at Godfather Pizza in South Jordan (not going there again), I returned to the carnival to watch "The secret lives of Pets" in the park with just the girls of the family.
Even with blankets, we were a bit cool on the grass but had a delightful time snuggling together.
The girls got to decorate doggy dishes and personalize their own dog tags. Stella even got to give the Chick-Fil-A cow a high five in exchange for a chocolate chip cookie.
