Christmas morning the kids woke up to snow on the ground, so after opening presents we allowed them to get dressed in their snow gear and go sledding in the back yard for a few minutes.
But first, it was the excitement of seeing what Santa had brought them and opening gifts as a family.
They each receive luggage and headlamps they will use as we travel this year.
In the afternoon we attended an abbreviated sacrament meeting where the children got to perform two beautiful musical numbers. That evening our family had a special dinner and travel to grandma and grandpa Humphries' home to open presents with the rest of the family.
We also called our family in Georgia to wish them all a very Merry Christmas.
