It is a short, but steep 1 mile hike to the waterfall and back. As we reached the end of the hike we came a crossed a closed up mine shaft and a small cave. The waterfall is not very wide but it is rather tall. The top part is hidden behind a large boulder that sticks out on one of the sides. Some people like to rapell from the top of it. I think it would be fun, except for the water temperature.
To access the trail we had to walk through a really nice neighborhood. After the hike we decided to walk around and check out some of the homes. Our favorite by far was the home built to look like a castle. They even have a mote with their very own bronze Loch Ness Monster. Who can beat that!
