Thanksgiving Point Farm Country

This morning I took the kids to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. It was a little on the chilly side to be outside but the kids enjoyed it and the lines were very short because of the weather.

I love visiting in the spring and seeing all of the baby animals. They had chicks and ducklings on display cuddling and playing with each other.

Outside the goats were roaming their pens. When Cason saw the goats he said "Mommy, they are having a birthday party! They are all wearing birthday hats." I am not quite sure why their horns were taped green.

They had quite a few different species of turkey (the one below is a wild turkey)

The peacock looked beautiful fanning out his feathers for us.

The kids favorite thing to do by far however was to ride the ponies. They just sat atop the animals and went around for a few minutes, filled with excitement and grinning the entire time.
