Basket Ball Pole

Each spring, for the past three years, I've tackled a spray painting project. First it was the railing on the front of the house. Last year I did the same for the back railing going to the patio. This year, it was time to tackle the basketball pole. It was a much more involved process, so I had to get the hubby involved on it as well.

I scraped all of the flaking green paint on the pole. We had to disassemble a great part of it so that we could get to all of the moving parts.

The hardest part was getting the net out of the hoop and then back in again.

We chose to paint it black instead of green. It will be a much easier color to match if we have to touch it up at again.

It took a couple of days, but as always, it was worth the effort. The pole looks brand new!
