Christmas Morning

The perfect ending to a wonderful Season. The kids woke up at around 7:30 am ready to see what Santa had brought them. It was a pretty laid back morning. They opened one present, played with it for a while and then moved on to another one. Needless to say, it took a good  couple of hours to open everything. 

As in previous years, my mom was there to celebrate this part of Christmas with us. Todd's parents came by a little later to see what every one had received. That too is an annual tradition. The kids place all of their gifts on their bed and they take a photo with their gift, after that they're free to play with their new toys.

That afternoon we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a devotional on the Book of Mormon Christmas story.  The kids read passage of scriptures about what was happening in the Americas prior and during the birth of the Savior and we sang Christmas Hymns that related to each passage.

To conclude the evening we enjoyed a tasty dinner and open yet more presents from grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
