Spring it's in the air! Well, not really.

 

Some of you have asked when am I going to put up some pictures of the renovated house. They are coming. Here are some of the fireplace in the front room. The gold has been replaced by a more contemporary black. The tile work is OK so I don't plan on doing anything to it until we re-do the kitchen, which won't be for a few more years.

I like Christmas but I'm usually ready to take down the holiday decorations as soon as it is over. I much rather have light and fresh feeling of pinks and white that adorn my house for Valentine.

And, although I know Spring is far from here yet, these last few days of 40 degree weather feel like it after a week of 8 degrees and Artic winds.
