Because of Stella's problems with dairy products I had to change my birthday cake from the traditional Tres Leches to a lemon merengue. It tasted good but it still left me wanting for my favorite cake in the whole wide world. I can't wait for Stella to wean so I can have a piece...
For dinner we went to a hibachi grill where they make a show of cooking infront of you. The food was really yummy. The kids got a little scared of the flames at the beginning of the cooking presentation and weren't very excited about the onion volcano. Carson covered his ears expecting a loud noise and cuddled up to me. Next thing I knew he was sound asleep on my lap. Stella on the other hand was wide awake so we did a quick switch and placed Carson in the baby carrier and held Stella on our laps. He looked like a giant inside the car seat.
I really enjoyed all of the gifts. I received a lot of accessories for my phone, some interesting books, some shoes I've been wanting for a while and baking ware I can't wait to use.
