St. Barnabas Christmas Program

Earlier in December Emilia participated in her preschool Christmas program. When we talked about it she told me she wanted to be Mary. I explained to her that it was an important part of the program and that there was only one Mary so she might not get to play the part. She was not dissuaded and did not want to even consider an alternative part in case the part of Mary was given to someone else. Luckily she was able to play Mary in the program and she did an excellent job.

Emilia has this calm demeanor about her when standing in front of people. She doesn't fidget or act afraid or goofy. It was the same way during the Primary program a few months back. I believe that attending primary has a lot to do with it.

She was giddy about all of the attention afterwards and was happy that her friend Claire (who play the part of Mary the previous year) came to see her perform.

Carson was excited  to see his big sister on stage and kept calling out for her and wanting to join her.

I'm so proud of my big girl and of what a wonderful person she is turning out to be.
