We have an annual membership to the zoo so we go there quite often. Emilia must be growing bored of just seeing the animals because this time we went there for a different reason.
When she was potty training we bought her the book Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi which teaches kids that all animals and humans must perfor certain bodily functions.
Emilia found it among her books and decided that she wanted to go to the zoo to see the animals' poop.
She would not let go of her idea or the book. Finally I conceaded. At the zoo she kept flipping through the pages to identify the animals and looking around for their 'left overs'.
I have to say, the zoo staff does a good job at keeping up with the animals because we never saw any.
We had a great time. The monkey exhibit was fun, as usual.
