1. I started wearing maternity clothes at four months. It was a sad and happy occasion all at once. I could finally fit comfortably in my pants again... but I wished I still fit in my old clothes! What I don't get is that according to my doctor I've only gained two pounds during this pregnancy. Something must be wrong with their scale.
2. Emilia LOVES rainbow sprinkles. She will sit on the table and eat them straight from the container. I think they taste nasty without the frosting and cake. They're not really sweet (at least the ones I get). They taste more like wax to me, but to Emilia they are a real treat. The other day she woke up from her nap and asked for some. She managed to get it all over herself, even her feet.
3. I dedicated all of yesterday to potty training. I'm sure that's what I'll be doing today as well. We've been teaching her to go to the potty on and off for a few days but her pull ups were too much of a safety net for all of us.
This time she went bare bottom all day and we played mostly outside so I wouldn't have to clean up any accidents. She had only one accident - inside the house of course!
4. We had some friends over for dinner on Monday. Emilia was really excited to show them her toys and what she's been learning. She kept bringing things from around the house and showing them to our guest. One of the times she walked up to our friends with her potty training toilet seat. She must be proud of that also :)
