Stone Patio Makeover

In 2015 we ripped out the grass next to our covered patio and poured cement forms shaped like stones. I always planned to paint the cement to look like stones but other projects always took precedence. Finally this spring I'd waited enough and decided to tackle the project.

It was a slow process painting each stone by hand to look different than the one next to it.

Eventually Todd and Emilia came to the rescue and the process really sped up a lot!

It still took us an entire afternoon to complete it, but after sealing it, the results are so much better than the original. The color really stands out against the house instead of blending with the grey stucco.
