This year each of the three kids had their own gingerbread house to build and decorate. Carson's was a little different as it was made from Lego pieces. I helped Stella build hers while Emilia made hers all by herself.
As usual, there was a lot of sampling of the candy that was used to decorate the house. I think the manufacturer plans for it when they package their product because there is still a lot left over after the fact.
The Lego gingerbread house was the most involved and it wasn't ready until the next morning. Carson was very proud of his accomplishment - and so was I.
That Saturday, we took the kids to our ward's Christmas breakfast. I was in charged of the crafts. They each made a Christmas card and decorated a nativity place mat.
After the breakfast Santa stopped by for a quick visit. We had our nephew Andrew with us so he got his picture with Santa too.
