Stella's First Haircut

Miss Sunshine got her first haircut yesterday morning. She was so grown up, sitting on the chair facing the mirrors covered by the hair cutting cape. Her big brother was getting his haircut on the chair behind her. I think that gave her confidence that this was nothing to be afraid of.

She let the girl spray her thin hair down with water without flinching and sat perfectly still while the hair stylist trimmed about an inch off the back and evened out the sides.

It didn't take more than a few minutes but those few changes made a huge difference in Stella's appearance. Her hair looks a lot fuller now and a lot less wild.
