Yesterday evening our family went roller skating for the first time. Emilia was a trooper. She went around the rink a few times with Todd and me before we decided to rent something that resembles a walker made out of PVC pipe to help her balance.
It helped a lot with her self confidence on the skates. She took off with it and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
Carson rode his tricycle around next to Todd and Emilia and even tried to go up a couple of ramps. Stella enjoyed all of the music and lights.
Emilia skinned her ankles on the skates and bit her lip hard during one of her falls so I think she's not very enthusiastic about going back any time soon but she did enjoy the experience and was not afraid of trying so I know she'll be open to trying again in the future.
