Emilia is attending preschool this year. She's such a big girl! She is gone twice a week for 5 1/2 hours. This should prepare for the even longer days that will come once begins kindergarten next year.
Emilia was so excited to go that I had to remind her to give me a hug and kiss before entering her classroom. She just wanted to bolt in and get to know her new classmates and teacher, Mrs. Cindy.
I love to pick her up and hear all of her stories about what happened at school. The first day was bitter-sweet. I'm happy that she's growing into such a wonderful little girl but it saddens me to realize just how fast time has flown by. This is the last year I'll have her with me in the mornings (except for summers of course). I'll better make the most of this time.
Carson also had Emilia withdrawals. He spent most part of the morning looking for her and calling out 'Yaya, er r u?' (Emilia, where are you?). Luckily we have each other to keep us busy while we wait for Emilia to return to us a little more grown up.
