Loosing my mind

Two posts in one day! You MUST read the one below so I'll make this brief.

Pregnancy usually affects my body in more than the obvious ways. I gain a basketball and loose my brain. I'm glad it is only temporary.

On Thursday night I had to run a quick errand so I left Emilia with Todd, took care of what I needed to do and got home at about 7:30 pm. The next morning I noticed we were out of milk, so I went to get some out of the fridge in our garage.

When I opened the door I noticed that the garage was warmer than my house. I have a cold, but I could still faintly smell exhaust fumes from the car that filled the entire room. The car was still running from the night before!

I couldn't believe I could have done such a thing. My first thought is that someone had decided to kill themselves in our garage. Somehow walked into our house, got my keys out of my purse and started the car. I had to check to see if there was anyone in either vehicles. Of course that was not the case.

When I told Todd about what happened his comment was simply 'Well, you probably managed to kill all of the cockroaches that lived in the garage.' He is such a positive guy!

I'm so glad that you guys are alright. Don't feel bad, I think all pregnant women's minds go. I've lost the Christmas card list three times now.

Wow. I feel your pain. So far, this pregnancy has been okay but I know I'll get there. When I was pregnant with Maddy, I drove through the drive-thru at Wendy's without ordering anything. I pulled up to pay and they had no record (obviously) of my order. I felt so dumb!!
