We've had a couple of doctor's appointments since our announcement and all is looking well with the baby. During the last two visits it has been measuring about a week ahead of where it should be. That never happened with Emilia and she still came early. So, I'm keeping my hopes up that it won't be a January baby even though Todd things that a January birthday is better than a December birthday.
It's too early to tell at this point and I'm also a little skeptical about the measurements since the baby has been moving like crazy since our fist sonogram at eight weeks. I have even felt it move on a couple of occasions already.
Emilia doesn't grasp the idea of having a sibling yet but she knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy and thinks there's one in hers also. She loves babies so I think we won't have to deal with rejection but rather her showing too much affection.
