Carson is Crawling - Early 10 month update

Carson won't be 10 months old for another 10 days but I didn't want to wait to write about him.
He has changed so much since we began our big adventure this summer. When we first left in July he was just learning to sit up on his own. He mastered sitting while we were visiting Todd's family in Utah. I was hoping he would stay at that stage until we returned home.

Carson also really loves to hold on to our fingers and go whatever which way his legs take him.  He's been pulling himself up on furniture for about a week. I really thought he would just skip crawling all together and go straight to walking but on Tuesday he got on his fours and started swaying back and forth. After a couple of minutes he began moving his arms and legs crawling towards the toy he wanted.

Gone are the days when I used to be able to sit him on the beach and not worry about him going anywhere.

Carson likes to make raspberries and clicks his tongue when 'talking' to us. He squeals a lot when he's excited - I'm sure he's learned that from Emilia :)

He still loves to pull hair - his and others - and to put things in his mouth. I have to constantly check on him because he can often manage to slip a rock, sea shell, wood chips, etc. without me noticing.

I love my little man. He's a really adorable and easy going kid who looks up to his big sister to learn how to behave. And I couldn't have asked for a better older sister to teach him how to be happy, sweet and friendly.
