Hawaii

Our first bbq at the beach

Carson is loving the beach. He really enjoys eating sand and riding the boogie board on the water.

This is a sea turtle we saw at Po' ipu beach. On monday, I was swimming with the kids and a seal swam about 15 ft from where we were. It was really cool to share the water with such cool animalsI've been wanting to write this post for days but between getting things set up at the new house where we're staying and taking advantage of the great weather to go and explore, I just haven't had time.

We spent a week in the south shore near Po' ipu beach and we're now living in Princeville near Hideaways beach. Our goal for the next few days is to check out every beach near where we live and decide which we like best.
The cable that connects the camera to the computer is broken so I haven't been able to get pictures off the camera for a while. We're waiting for the replacement to arrive from the mainland. That's one of the drawbacks of living in an island, prices are ridiculously expensive ($5.60 for a gallon of milk and $6.00 for a box of cereal), or they just don't carry what I need.
In the meantime, I'll take photos with my phone and upload them to facebook.

Aloha!
