Merry Christmas Everyone

I'm sitting on my couch sick with the flu. Congested, headache, body ache, coughing... the whole thing. So I hope my comments are somewhat coherent.

Thank you for all of the letters and cards. It was great to hear how well you all are doing.

Our Christmas was fun and uneventful. Just the way I like it. Emilia is still young enough that we were able to sleep in, get dressed and have breakfast before opening presents. My parents and my sister joined us for the celebration.

Emilia got several fun toys but the farm animal fridge magnet was definitely the most fun for us to see her play with. She really enjoyed dancing to the music.

We also got a chance to talk to Todd's two sisters on a mission. It was good to hear their voices and to know that they are doing well. We spent most of the afternoon playing Sequence. What a fun game! If you have never played, you should check it out.

Finally, in the evening we went to see the Interlochen light display in north Arlington. There were six of us riding in our car, so I got to sit in the trunk and hide under a blanket from the policeman directing traffic. Even though I doubt they would have cared.

I didn't shoot this video, but this is what we saw, except much more slowly. Traffic was horrible!
